"It was just a great day for us," Byron remarked after the race. "The car was fast from the get-go, and we were able to maintain our position firmly." His performance was not only highlighted by his lead but also by earning a total of 60 points throughout the event.
Byron's closest competitor, Kyle Larson, also in a Chevrolet, finished just behind him in second place, also completing 271 laps. "We had a great car today, but we just couldn't catch William, he was in a league of his own," Larson noted, reflecting on his effort.
Alex Bowman, another key player in the race, secured third place, finishing on the same lap as the leaders with 46 points to his name. "It was about finding those strategic moments to push, but things fell into place for the top contenders today," said Bowman.
Bubba Wallace, driving a Toyota, had a remarkable performance, finishing fourth and racking up an impressive 41 points. "I felt like we were competitive and in the mix all day," Wallace shared, highlighting the fierce competition in this NASCAR event.
